Lost! And the mysterious case of the moving bullet.

See that? That’s where Ben got shot. I’ve played around with the pic a bit to make it clearer, but that’s definitely where he was shot. If not in the heart, then very near it.

I was interested to see how the writers were going to handle the whole Dead Ben thing, as the last episode  spent an awful lot of time establishing that Sayeed is a PROFESSIONAL killer. Furthermore, it went to great lengths to point out that he was a killer who was PROFESSIONAL, which is to say, he was PROFESSIONAL at killing people. And then he shoots Ben in the heart.  Professionally.

But Ben can’t die! I know this. Miles knows it. Everybody knows it. And so I was annoyed, because the last episode seemed like a massive waste of time; Sayeed is a professional, he shoots Ben professionally, but Ben can’t die, so what’s the point?

Anyway, cut to this week, and guess what?!

AFTER

AFTER

Ben’s bullet wound has miraculously jumped to the other side of his body, and lo! He will survive.

It’s not a big deal, of course. We knew Ben was going to survive, and even if Sayeed had hit him in the heart, it’s the bloody Island, for god’s sake. Sayeed could have replaced Ben’s blood with Sunny Delight and then fed him through a woodchipper and he’d probably still pull through, somehow.

So, in short – I noticed a continuity error.

I DEMAND A FULL INVESTIGATION.
